Chicago - The Musical Atlantic city Theatre reviews
I was disappointed when I heard Christie Brinkley would not be performing in the lead role. From Jacksonville, North Carolina all the way to Durham , North Carolina I was disappointed. Then my disappointment was shattered when Bianca Marroquin began to perform. WOW was she amazing! I couldn't imagine anyone being a better Roxie Hart! Her overall performance was an excellent blend of pure talent, sexy entertainment and gut busting humor. Bianca Marroquin unfortunately had to carry a number of other cast members. Ron Orbach (Amos) and Amra-Faye Wright (Velma) did not live up to my expectations. Having said this, the overall performance was very enjoyable and would have rated a five star rating with a little more stage scenic design and costume design. For example the band could have been in costume.
